What did this include?

This experience allowed me to identify gaps in our current stock and approach purchasing with clear commercial intent. The event also included our prom dress suppliers, giving me the valuable opportunity to meet them in person after working with them regularly on a day-to-day basis.

Sourcing & Styles

I was also responsible for sourcing new prom dress styles, an area in which I particularly excelled. While reviewing new collections, I assessed garments based on quality, current trends, and how well they aligned with our target customer’s needs.

Summary

Overall, attending the exhibition provided me with strong insight into the business side of fashion and deepened my understanding of how creative design and commercial decision-making work together to meet market demand.
